Dark Horse Entertainment is a full service Special Effects and Theming Company that was originally based in Gainesville, Florida. Founded by Artist-Designer Craig Popovich, in the year 2001. Dark Horse maintained operation until 2011. In 2025 Dark Horse Entertainment reopened in Youngstown, Ohio. Craig’s vision was to create a company whose entire purpose was to bring to reality the vision and imagination of its clients to reality.

Dark Horse can provide a variety of custom fabricated products for hotels, casinos, resorts, theme parks, museums, night clubs, restaurants and other clients requiring such special needs.

2. Products and Services

Our products and services include architectural ornamentation, sculptures, murals, signage, rockwork and waterfalls, theatrical props, prosthetic theatrical make-up and reproduction molds and castings. Additionally, a full service of support services including consultation, art direction, design, installation and project management are offered through the United States and overseas.
